How do you chose a merchant to buy from, they all claimed to be licensed and approved medical equipment dealer, they all say they are authorized representative of the various manufacturers, this part of the series will let you know how to really chose the right dealer for your medical equipment.

The first part of selecting a merchant is to determine they are legal and will be there long after you purchase the wheelchair, things to look for in a website is their third party seals, these are services provided by independent companies that verifies the existent of of an internet retailer and the validity of their contact information, another seal verify the secure nature of your transaction from your computer to the merchants server. The more third party verification seals the better, you can also research them through their local Better Business Bureau if they are located in the United states

 You can check that the logo is actually from BBB, if it is the window that pops up will start with bbb.org, in the address bar. You can also check all issues reported against a merchant and how they were resolved.

If the verisign logo can not be clicked on, I will suggest you contact verisign (Report Abuse) and verify with them to make sure it is not a fake logo because it is supposed to be verifiable and the only way is to click on it and get the kind of seal above, anyone can just put an  image on their site claiming to be verified.
